The attention of Titan Sports Management, one of Nigeria's finest sports management agencies of international repute has been drawn to an article written by one Francis Achi of TotoriNews.Com titled "Nigeria Players Are Never Honest" and published on www.totorinews.com, specifically on https://www.totorinews.com/nigerian-players-are-never-honest-lawal-reveals/, in which the pictorial image of one of our highly talented and promising players named Tunde Azeez was used and erroneously displayed to depict the referenced Article which seemed to be de-marketing Nigerian football players.
We wish to state that Francis Achi and TotoriNews used the referenced pictorial image without seeking and obtaining our authorisation or consent. We state categorically the unauthorised use of our player’s pictorial image is an infringement of our player’s image rights, unlawful, wrongful and unprofessional.
For the record, our player, Tunde Azeez is highly talented with a very promising and blossoming career in the round leather game in Nigeria and we are therefore surprised at the unauthorised usage of his pictorial image in such a negative, sensational and de-marketing publication. We trust our demand will be met immediately by Francis Achi and TotoriNews online
However, in the unlikely event that our demand is not met immediately within 48 hours, we will not hesitate to instruct our legal team to take immediate steps to protect the image rights and the hard earned reputation of our player, Tunde Azeez in the Nigerian Professional Football League in particular and the society at large.
