Super Falcons and Dalian Quanjian star Asisat Oshoala has signed a contract to transfer from her Chinese club to Europe's 2019 Champions League finalists, Barcelona by July 1.
This new deal will see the Nigerian superstar remain at Barcelona till June 30, 2022.
A statement was seen at Barcelona's website confirming the deal, it reads:
"Asisat Oshoala and FC Barcelona have joined a new contract until June 30, 2022, after the agreement for the transfer from July 1 between the Catalan club and his home, the Dalian Quanjian. The Nigerian striker, aged 24, arrived at Barça on January 31 as a loan from the Chinese entity.
"In these four months, Oshoala has played eleven official matches as Barça and has scored eight goals, among which the first of the team in a final of the Champions League, in Budapest.
"The three times best African footballer of the year is currently concentrated with the Nigerian team before playing the World Cup in France, starting on June 7. When the calendar allows it, the act of signing Oshoala's new contract with Barça will take place."
